Visitor Information Center
The Visitor Information Center (VIC) is conveniently located in the main lobby of the Minneapolis Convention Center on the ground floor. Concierges can provide directions, building facilities information, and offer hospitality and tourist assistance in understanding and use of the City's:
- Hospitality opportunities, convention facility information and tourism attractions
- Historic, cultural and educational resources
- Convenience and traveler services.
Brochures, maps, magazines and other hospitality publications are available for guests to collect and reference.
Hours of Operation: VIC is open Monday through Sunday – 8:00am-4:30pm.
Ticket Booth
Hours of operation: Tuesday – Saturday 10:30am – 1pm, 1:30pm – 5pm
Business Center
FedEx Kinko's is the exclusive, on-site provider of printing and shipping for all your business needs.
Coat/Baggage Check
The Minneapolis Convention Center facility provides Coat/Baggage check. These services are offered during the coat-check season October 15 through April 15.

Mobility Shop (scooter & wheelchair rental)
The Mobility Shop is the exclusive on-site provider
for mobility equipment at the Minneapolis Convention
Center (MCC). The Mobility Shop makes it easy for
you to rent equipment. By connecting to www.themobilityshop.com -
you can reserve your mobility equipment on-line prior
to your arrival. Or if you would be more comfortable,
contact the Mobility shop toll free at 888-404-5554.
The Mobility Shop provides state-of-the-art mobility equipment which includes power operated vehicles (scooter) or manual wheelchairs., The Mobility Shop recommends reserving your equipment in advance to insure its availability. All equipment is picked up and returned on-site at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
- Forms of Payment
All transactions must be processed with a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Checks and cash will not be accepted.
- Renting
Minneapolis Convention Center Guests can pre-register and reserve their mobility equipment or register on-site. MCC Guests that inquire about on-site rentals can check with concierges personnel at the Visitor Information Center located in the main lobby on ground level.
- Rates
Minneapolis Convention Center Guests that pre-register will pay the full-day rate:
- Mobility Scooter: Full-day/$50.00 per day
- Manual Wheelchair: Full-day/$20.00 per day
Minneapolis Convention Center Guests that on-site register have the option to pay the full-day or half-day rate:
- Mobility Scooter: Half-day/Four (4) hour minimum $35.00 per day
- Manual Wheelchair: Half-day/Four (4) hour minimum $10.00 per day
Guests will be refunded $15.00 for the scooter or $10.00 for the wheelchair if returned within four (4) hours.
Policy
Mobility equipment cannot depart the MCC premises. Overnight use of mobility equipment is prohibited, mobility equipment must be returned prior to departure from the convention center facilities.
The MCC is not held responsible or liable for any lost or stolen articles at coat/baggage check locations that are not staffed by Minneapolis Convention facility personnel.
